We start every engagement with a strategy phase. The goal is not to design or build — it’s to make sure the design and build phases are aimed at the right outcome.
What this looks like
- Stakeholder interviews to understand the actual problem
- Audit of existing systems and processes
- Prioritized scope: what’s in the MVP, what’s in v2, what’s never
- A clear written outcome statement everyone signs off on
The deliverable is a short document that says “we’re solving X for Y, and success looks like Z.” Everything downstream maps back to that document.
